THE LIFE

Prieto was born in Mexico City; his grandfather Jorge Prieto Laurens was the city's mayor. He has collaborated with Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu and Martin Scorsese, among other directors. He shot Ang Lee's Brokeback Mountain, earning an Academy Award nomination, and appeared in a small cameo in it. For Scorsese he shot Silence, The Irishman and Killers of the Flower Moon, each nominated for the Academy Award.
